  • Kaiju Girl Caramelise

    Suffering from a rare, incurable illness that causes frightening changes to her body, loner Kuroe Akaishi spends her high school days avoiding all her classmates—especially class idol Arata Minami and his groupies.   • Ultraman Teo

    After the Earth-like Planet H12 is destroyed by invading space kaiju, its only survivor, Teo, escapes to Earth. Living under the name Ibuki Mitsuishi, he becomes a third-year veterinary student and quietly adapts to human life while caring for animals. When the same monsters that wiped out his home world attack Earth, Ibuki overcomes his fear and transforms into the blue Giant of Light, Ultraman, to defend his new home.

  • Kakusei Hunter Omegahorn

    CONFIRMED

    [Post-Production, July 26th, 2026, Toei Company, Japan]

    Shout the Flame, a treasure hunter who lives hand-to-mouth . Shout is well-versed in ancient scripts, deciphers ancient texts, and sets out on expeditions, making a living by selling the artifacts he unearths. One day, he encounters Enkaku, the "Horned Beast King." This encounter with Enkaku, who can also take on a human form (a demi-human form) , will drastically change Shout's destiny. Despite their initial hesitation, Shout and Enkaku become fast friends and engage in "Hunter Battles" with a variety of unique hunters they encounter along the way .

  • Kaiju No. 8 Final Chapter

    CONFIRMED

    [Production, UNKNOWN RELEASE, Production I.G, America]

    The third and final season from Production I.G is expected to adapt the remainder of Naoya Matsumoto’s manga, specifically "The Second Wave Arc" and "The Last Wave Arc."

    Also announced as a tie-in was an animated short film “Narumi’s Week at Work”

  • Power Rangers Reboot

    CONFIRMED

    [Production, 2026-2027, Hasbro Entertainment/20th Century TV, United States]

    Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are in talks to write, showrun and produce the series for Disney+ and 20th Century TV, Hasbro will produce the series and it will serve as a entirely new series ignoring all past Power Rangers. Since January 2026, the show has been filming.

  • Unnamed Monarch Prequel Spin-Off

    [Production, UNKNOWN RELEASE DATE, Legendary Television, USA]

    The series is set in 1984 and follows Colonel Lee Shaw on a covert mission behind enemy lines. The central objective is to stop the Soviets from unleashing a massive new Titan capable of turning the tide of the Cold War against the United States.

  • Godzilla Anime Series

    It has been decided that a new anime series based on Japan's most popular monster, Godzilla, will be produced, and concept art has been released. For the first time in the series that has been running for over 70 years, the story will tell of a boy who possesses the power of Godzilla.

  • GAEA-TIMA The Gigantis

    A new kaiju project is in the works! At present, no studio or staff has been attached to the project. Further details will be announced in the future.

  • Schoolgirl vs. Ultraman: Hollyhock

    CONFIRMED

    [Production, UNKNOWN, Tsuburaya Productions, Japan]

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention 2023. An entirely new human drama with a female protagonist, based on the New Generation Ultraman setting.

  • Kaiju no Sumika

    CONFIRMED

    [Pre-Production, UNKNOWN, Tsuburaya Productions, Japan]

    "Kaiju No Sumika" is a grand drama with a "Kaiju" as the main character. The story is co-developed by writer Yoichi Komori.

  • Darkness Heels

    CONFIRMED

    [Pre-Production, UNKNOWN, Tsuburaya Productions, Japan]

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention 2023. The Darkness Heels project will be an anime that highlights the dark heroes of the Ultraman franchise such as Ultraman Belial, Dark Zagi, Evil Tiga, Camearra, and Jugglus Juggler.

  • Monarch: Legacy of Monsters - Season 3

    Season two ended on a cliffhanger, it is unknown, and the people behind the show hav ideas with how to continue the show, but no official announcements have occured.

  • Cryptozoology (Monarch Spin-Off)

    When season two of Monarch was announced, it was announced with "various spin-offs" in development too. A copyright registration for "Cryptozoology" was discovered with Legendary Pictures attached. A recent news story revealed that Apple TV+ is cancelling various in-development projects for their service due to losing more money than making off of the service. It is unknown if "Cryptozoology" or the other unannounced projects related to the MonsterVerse are impacted by these business decisions.

  • Various Monarch Spin-Offs

    When season two of Monarch was announced, it was announced with "various spin-offs" in development too. A recent news story revealed that Apple TV+ is cancelling various in-development projects for their service due to losing more money than making off of the service. It is unknown the unannounced projects related to the MonsterVerse are impacted by these business decisions. However, in November 2025 it was confirmed that development was still going on.

  • Pacific Rim TV Series

    CONFIRMED

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Legendary Pictures, USA]

    In August 2024, it was announced that Legendary had entered into a deal with Eric Heisserer for television. Under the deal, Heisserer and Carmen Lewis — with whom Heisserer founded the production company Chronology — will develop and shepherd IP-driven and related projects for Legendary. The first project to be developed under the deal will be a “Pacific Rim” origin story series.

  • Untitled 2027 Ultraman Series

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention in 2022, a series is planned for 2027-2028.

  • Project Nemesis

    [Pre-Production, UNKNOWN, Sony TV, USA]

    Sony TV announced in May of 2022 that they were developing an adaptation of the book "Project Nemesis" by Jeremy Robinson. Neal H. Moritz’s Original Film (The Boys), with John Wick helmer Chad Stahelski set to direct and executive produce. Original Film’s Moritz, Toby Jaffe and Pavun Shetty will executive produce, along with Stahelski and Jason Spitz.

    As of March 2026, the distributor had backed out and the project was on hold.

  • King Kong (Disney+ Series)

    Announced August 2022. James Wan's Atomic Monster is set to produce the show, written by Paper Girls creator Stephany Folsom, King Kong is a serialized action-adventure drama that brings the classic monster story into the modern age, with a return to Skull Island and the dawn of a new Kong. The series will explore the mythology of King Kong’s origin story and the supernatural mysteries of his home based on IP from Merian C. Cooper’s original books and the new King Kong novelizations by Joe DeVito.

  • Godzilla: Singular Point - Season 2

    UNCONFIRMED

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Toho Animation, Japan]

    When an X user asked EnJoe on the platform if a season two was happening, he alluded to the fact that contracts exist. Nothing has been announced, or elaborated on since.

    It is unlikely that anything will come of this.

  • Gamera: Rebirth - Season 2

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Kadokawa Corporation, Japan]

    Hiroyuki Seshita said in an interview for the press tour of "Gamera: Rebirth" that they planned on producing a second season of the show if it did well. As numbers have been released by Netflix since then, the show bombed.

    It is unlikely anything will come of this.

  • Gamera (Live Action Series)

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Kadokawa Corporation, Japan]

    Hiroyuki Seshita said in an interview for the press tour of "Gamera: Rebirth" that Kadokawa had planned on producing a live-action Gamera series if "Gamera: Rebirth" did well.
