  • Kamen no Ninja Akakage

    It's the Sengoku period. Behind Oda Nobunaga's ambition to unify the country lies the existence of a group of ninjas never recorded in history... Another Sengoku period story, featuring ninjas who dedicated their lives to their master. This is packed with highlights, including nonstop ninja action against monsters showcased through VFX, characters led by the stylish and cool Akakage, and a coming-of-age tale of young ninjas living in the darkness of the Warring States period! Written by screenwriter Watanabe Yusuke, known for films such as "The Fable" (2019), this "new hero period drama" shines with the delicate emotional nuances of its characters and the complex intertwining storyline!

  • Ultraman Omega

    On an Earth where neither heroes nor kaiju exist, an alien suddenly falls from the sky. This Ultra's symbol is the red space boomerang he holds, the Omega Slugger, and his name means "ultimate." "Omega" is an alien who has lost his memories. Taking human form and adopting the name "Sorato", he becomes interested in the life forms called "Earthlings" that he is encountering for the first time and attempts to understand them. When a giant life form appears, amnesiac Sorato recalls a word—"kaiju". As these kaiju continue to appear before him, a sense of duty awakens in Sorato's subconscious. He transforms into "Ultraman Omega" and an intense, fast-paced fight unfolds. The Earthlings, in turn, are grappling with encountering these gigantic life forms and the alien that fights with a red slugger for the first time, watching from various places and trying to understand what they are. Before long, Sorato and an ordinary young man—an alien and an Earthling, become friends. This ambitious work poses a question through these friends' resonating hearts; "Why does Ultraman protect the Earth?"

  • No. 01 Sentai Gozyuger

    The "Universe War" was a large-scale conflict involving the various giants of the different universes against a threat simply known as "The Calamity". At the brink of defeat, TegaSword appeared and the giants offered their powers, creating the "Sentai Rings", who destroyed the Calamity but also provoked the destruction and recreation of the universe with the rings scattered across the cosmos. Sometime later, five outcasts from society are given the chance to change their lives when TegaSword chooses them to transform into the Gozyugers, who are tasked with gathering the Sentai Rings and the one who assembles all of them will get their wish granted, which starts a competition not only between the group, but against the No One World Bridan, as well other people that have been chosen to also get their wish granted dubbed the "Universe Warriors".

  • Monarch: Legacy of Monsters - Season 2

The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the bonds between family, friend and foe — all with the threat of a Titan event on the horizon.

  • Godzilla Anime Series

    It has been decided that a new anime series based on Japan's most popular monster, Godzilla, will be produced, and concept art has been released. For the first time in the series that has been running for over 70 years, the story will tell of a boy who possesses the power of Godzilla.

  • Schoolgirl vs. Ultraman: Hollyhock

    [Production, UNKNOWN, Tsuburaya Productions, Japan]

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention 2023. An entirely new human drama with a female protagonist, based on the New Generation Ultraman setting.

  • Kaiju no Sumika

    CONFIRMED

    [Pre-Production, UNKNOWN, Tsuburaya Productions, Japan]

    "Kaiju No Sumika" is a grand drama with a "Kaiju" as the main character. The story is co-developed by writer Yoichi Komori.

  • Darkness Heels

    CONFIRMED

    [Pre-Production, UNKNOWN, Tsuburaya Productions, Japan]

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention 2023. The Darkness Heels project will be an anime that highlights the dark heroes of the Ultraman franchise such as Ultraman Belial, Dark Zagi, Evil Tiga, Camearra, and Jugglus Juggler.

  • Untitled 2026 Ultraman Series

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention in 2022, a series is planned for 2026-2027.

  • Power Rangers Reboot

    CONFIRMED

    [Pre-production, 2026-2027, Hasbro Entertainment/20th Century TV, United States]

    Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are in talks to write, showrun and produce the series for Disney+ and 20th Century TV, Hasbro will produce the series and it will serve as a entirely new series ignoring all past Power Rangers.

  • Cryptozoology (Monarch Spin-Off)

    When season two of Monarch was announced, it was announced with "various spin-offs" in development too. A copyright registration for "Cryptozoology" was discovered with Legendary Pictures attached. A recent news story revealed that Apple TV+ is cancelling various in-development projects for their service due to losing more money than making off of the service. It is unknown if "Cryptozoology" or the other unannounced projects related to the MonsterVerse are impacted by these business decisions.

  • Various Monarch Spin-Offs

    When season two of Monarch was announced, it was announced with "various spin-offs" in development too. A recent news story revealed that Apple TV+ is cancelling various in-development projects for their service due to losing more money than making off of the service. It is unknown the unannounced projects related to the MonsterVerse are impacted by these business decisions. However, in November 2025 it was confirmed that development was still going on.

    According to Nexus Point News, on November 27th, 2025… Apple TV has greenlit a prequel series to Monarch: Legacy of Monsters starring Wyatt Russell as the younger Lee Shaw, from Monarch. The series will be set during the Cold War and grapple with tensions between the United States and Russia in a world of monsters. Joby Harold will serve as the series’ showrunner and will executive produce with his wife and producing partner Tory Tunnell through Safehouse Pictures. Wyatt Russell, will serve as an executive producer as well. The upcoming Monarch prequel series is set to begin production next Summer in Prague.

  • Project Nemesis

    Sony TV announced in May of 2022 that they were developing an adaptation of the book "Project Nemesis" by Jeremy Robinson. Neal H. Moritz’s Original Film (The Boys), with John Wick helmer Chad Stahelski set to direct and executive produce. Original Film’s Moritz, Toby Jaffe and Pavun Shetty will executive produce, along with Stahelski and Jason Spitz. Sony TV is the studio.

  • Pacific Rim TV Series

    CONFIRMED

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Legendary Pictures, USA]

    In August 2024, it was announced that Legendary had entered into a deal with Eric Heisserer for television. Under the deal, Heisserer and Carmen Lewis — with whom Heisserer founded the production company Chronology — will develop and shepherd IP-driven and related projects for Legendary. The first project to be developed under the deal will be a “Pacific Rim” origin story series.

  • GAEA-TIMA The Gigantis

    A new kaiju project is in the works! At present, no studio or staff has been attached to the project. Further details will be announced in the future.

  • Untitled 2027 Ultraman Series

    Announced at Tsuburaya Convention in 2022, a series is planned for 2027-2028.

  • King Kong (Disney+ Series)

    Announced August 2022. James Wan's Atomic Monster is set to produce the show, written by Paper Girls creator Stephany Folsom, King Kong is a serialized action-adventure drama that brings the classic monster story into the modern age, with a return to Skull Island and the dawn of a new Kong. The series will explore the mythology of King Kong’s origin story and the supernatural mysteries of his home based on IP from Merian C. Cooper’s original books and the new King Kong novelizations by Joe DeVito.

  • Godzilla: Singular Point - Season 2

    UNCONFIRMED

    When an X user asked EnJoe on the platform if a season two was happening, he alluded to the fact that contracts exist. Nothing has been announced, or elaborated on since.

    It is unlikely that anything will come of this.

  • Gamera: Rebirth - Season 2

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Kadokawa Corporation, Japan]

    Hiroyuki Seshita said in an interview for the press tour of "Gamera: Rebirth" that they planned on producing a second season of the show if it did well. As numbers have been released by Netflix since then, the show bombed.

    It is unlikely anything will come of this.

  • Gamera (Live Action Series)

    [Development, UNKNOWN, Kadokawa Corporation, Japan]

    Hiroyuki Seshita said in an interview for the press tour of "Gamera: Rebirth" that Kadokawa had planned on producing a live-action Gamera series if "Gamera: Rebirth" did well. It is not known whether this was just said to push for higher viewership on "Gamera: Rebirth" or if it was seriously considered. As numbers have been released by Netflix since then, the show bombed.
